Looking Back:
I have very happy with the progress I've made in our class so far! Some of the things I'm most proud of are the stories I've written and the insight I've received about feedback and a growth mindset. The assignments I enjoy the most are the feedback assignments because I love to read stories and I enjoy the opportunity to share my thoughts on them. I have done a lot of extra credit assignments, but have used them as replacements for the assignments I thought would be more taxing or time consuming. In hindsight, I wish I would have used some to acquire extra points in class. That being said, I'm very pleased with the layout of both my blog and my portfolio!
Looking Forward:
Going forward, I have a few goals in mind for this course. I want to be sure to finish all of the weekly assignments on time (or ahead of time) in order to achieve my best work on each one. I also want to accomplish this so that I can use the extra credit assignments to actually receive EXTRA credit. I also want to take advantage of the story-telling projects more because they are so fun and allow so much room for creativity. I want to try a first-person point of view in my next story, because I think this allows for much more expressive and exciting story telling. Other than these goals, the main thing I need to be aware of is if I am on track to receive at least 410 points and get an A!!
