Bibliography: Noor Inayat, The Master's Test, The Master's Test
*What can I say I love these boys ππ
*There was once an old master who had a few "pupils"
*One day, he told them he was poor and weak and needing money. He implored them to steal for him because they are young and capable.
*Instructing them to find a place where "nobody is watching", they decide they will steal from another man but not harm him.
*When one of the pupils is silent, the master asks him why he won't comply. He says there is no such place; he is always watching himself (i.e. holding himself accountable).
*This makes the master smile.
*The other pupils realize it was a test as well, and looked shame-ridden.
*Then, anytime the students thought about doing something they knew could be wrong, they remembered they are always there to watch themselves.
