I am using episodes of the Ramayana to incite the events in my storybook project!
Three episodes:
Battle with Khara- an episode in which Rama battles this young man-eating Rakshasa using his flaming arrows and the power of an eclipse.
Jatayu and Ravana- the mighty bird, Jatayu, battles Ravana after the powerful Rakshasa has turned into a bird to capture Sita. Ravana is regarded for using many different weapons in this episode, including arrows, while Jatayu battles using his beak and talons.
Vali's Death- Rama kills Vali in a seemingly dishonorable way, using flaming arrows (his signature move). Vali is known to have had the ability to take half his opponents strength in battle, giving him the upper hand.
*After reading various other stories, I have seen arrows, flaming arrows, flags, celestial weapons, shapeshifting and a few other less-specific weapon forms.
